Hazri ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile application that helps small businesses in India track staff attendance, manage wages, and generate payroll reports. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
Business information: Names, types, and settings of the businesses you create (you may create more than one workspace under the same account).
Staff data: Names, phone numbers (optional), roles, wage details, weekly off preferences, overtime rates, and advance payment records for staff members you add.
Attendance records: Daily attendance status (present, absent, half-day) and overtime hours for each staff member.
Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and improving the app.
Notification preferences: Your reminder settings including whether notifications are enabled and your preferred reminder time.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide core app functionality: attendance tracking, payroll calculation, and report generation
- To authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In
- To sync your data across devices using cloud storage
- To send local notification reminders for marking attendance (only with your permission)
- To generate and export PDF reports
- To improve the app and fix bugs
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) servers. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use Firebase Authentication to verify your identity.
Local data is stored on your device using encrypted storage for offline access.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
5. Third-Party Services
Hazri uses the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication (Google Privacy Policy)
- Firebase (Google Cloud): For data storage, authentication, and cloud infrastructure (Firebase Privacy)
- Expo: For app framework and notification services (Expo Privacy Policy)
6. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone except:
- When you explicitly export and share a report (e.g. PDF via WhatsApp, email)
- When required by Indian law or legal process
- With service providers (Firebase/Google Cloud) who process data on our behalf
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all your data — including staff records, attendance history, and business profile — will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your data within the app
- Export: Export your attendance and payroll data as PDF reports
- Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data via the account deletion page or within the app
- Correction: Edit your business profile, staff details, and attendance records at any time
9. Children's Privacy
Hazri is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
